Night Stop In KL

We had to spend one night in KL before we proceeded to Manchester on Etihad Airlines. Luckily Uncle Ayah was in KL training so we were able to crash at his place for the night. When we arrived, Uncle Ayah told us to put our luggage down so we could go out & eat. One night in KL and I loved it to bits!!!

31 Months Today

My little cheeky madame at 31 months

Dear Sweet pea,

A Congratulations is now in order!!! You are officially potty trained! Day & night. Alhamdullillah. Nanny Vina definitely trained you well! The first week, we had a few accidents in the day time. Whilst at night we just let you use diapers. But every morning your diapers were always dry, so during the second week, you slept with no diapers and guess what! No wet bed! I think those little accidents you had in the daytime finally got you trained to control your wee-wee. Mummy is proud of you!

Late last month, it was pre-arranged that you would spend a night at Mami-Nah's house (alone). It was going to be your first sleepover. I told you about it that lunchtime and you spend the afternoon packing your Trunki case. I dropped you off in the early evening and made my way home. It was a quiet evening at home so I just plonked myself on the couch and watched a DVD while daddy played games downstairs. At a quarter to midnight, I get a message. It said you were on your way home because you were crying for me. Awww....kesian anak mummy. I guess its still not time for us to be separated. The following day we went for Hi-Tea with Grandma & Auntie CeCe. You were a cheeky little lady trotting around the Empire Atrium.

So-Called first sleepover

Early this month, we spent an afternoon at Auntie Mamah's house. Hapidz was sleeping when we go there but he woke up later on. Auntie Mamah passed you a soft purple chair which has now become your booster seat in daddy's car. I realized this month that you love playing "Angry Birds" on my i-touch. You call it "Angy Bud".

All ready to go ofis with daddy

Every night before you settle down, you seem to religiously do a poop. Since you are under my care at night, you poop in my bathroom. The first time you did it, I sat you down and held you so you wouldn't fall into the toilet bowl. After you were done, I washed you and flushed the toilet. You looked into the bowl and said, "Bye Bye Poo Poo, See you, Goodnight!". I found that to be too too cute!!! You are too friendly my love, even with your own poop!

We went to an amazing new park this month. Its one of daddy's hidden treasures so we dubbed it "Daddy Park". Its a park & beach in one area. How cool is that. While you played on the beach, mummy, daddy & uncle BB went jogging on the beach. It was a tiring workout for mummy but I'm glad you enjoyed the place! That same weekend you did a modelling shoot with Zane & Baby Farris for Butik Bajoo.

Last week, while you were at Jungle Gym with Kaka Arisha, mummy baked cookies for the first time. You seemed to love them, so did daddy! You actually had a jar of strawberry jam with your cookies. The next day was your Nanny's day off, so we occupied ourselves and did painting outside on the porch. You seemed to like doing that very much.

Until next month my love, xoxo

30 Months Today

My Baby Girl all grown up

My dear babygirl,

Alhamdullillah, another milestone has been reached. Time seems to fly so fast and you such a chatterbox now....with attitude! Since you have already taken over the family TV room and the hallway with all your toys, mummy prefers none of your toys to be in mummy & daddy's room but you keep on bringing little knick knacks into our room. One night I told you to stop bringing your toys into our room, you looked rather disappointed but obediently picked up your toys and headed towards the door. Before closing the door, you said cheekily "Bye Gurlfren!"

Early this month, you did your first 'wee' or as you call it "she'she" on the toilet. Well done baby girl. I think the potty training is going well, so far, so good. As usual we went over to Grandma's and you surprised me. I do not expect you to know the days of the week at this age but funnily enough you seem to know one day of the week. Your favourite day. The day you get to spend an educationally 30 minutes in the car with Grandma. Your Toddler Group day. You kept on telling Grandma, On Wednesday, Mia go school okay."

Cute baju from Mami'Nah

Since you were born, we mainly used the English language around you but now, as you have grown older, we mix our words, sometimes mummy & daddy speak to you in English and Malay. You are sloly catching on to some malay words. You like saying "Karang" and "Setajap". Its so cute. This month you came up with a self-made word. We were out and about and when it was time to go home, as I was driving into our simpang and you said, "Don't want go home, I want go SINA." I just smiled to myself, knowing you were trying so hard to use the right word.

This month, you have learnt how to draw a perfect circle and number one. I think the application on mummy's i-touch that daddy downloaded helps with control of tracing . Mummy is also very proud of you this month as you have finally accomplished Daytime potty training. Since you sleep with us in our bed, I dont want to risk you 'making an accident' at night while you sleep. So, you still wear diapers when u sleep.

After spending the morning with grandpa & grandma, you came home with a new antic. You started saying, "Mummy, shum shum", then you would grab my head and sniff my cheek. Rupanya you learnt to 'cium' the malay way. Its so cute. Now our goodbye ritual would be, Salam-kiss-hug and shum!

This is what she gets up to when she's bored

Every weekend, since mummy doesn't work, I try to entertain you some way of the other. Earlier this week, I brought you to watch your first sunset at Jerudong beach. You seemed to have enjoyed just sitting there eating your keropok whilst the wind was blowing through your hair. This weekend, we spent in the kitchen making pizza, unfortunately you were too tired after spending the day with your cousins. I love you my sweetums!!!!
