Dream a little Dream

My Little Princess

Since Baby Mia turned 6 months old, I have noticed a few changes in her character and her routine. She's crawling all over the place now and is just too eager to learn to stand. If I'm lying next to her, she starts grabbing on to me for support, pushes herself up and stands on her two chubby legs.

Her sleep pattern is all messed up...she has started dreaming and starts smiling in her sleep and sometimes starts doing some sort of baby karate. Her bad dreams make her wake up in the middle of the night, sometimes only 2 times, but other times she can wake up around 5-6 times a night. Though she doesn't wake up and play, she does wake up and hunts for my breastmilk. I figure that by doing that, its her sense of security. This is the reason why she sleeps with us now. A bad move, yes I know. On some nights when she falls asleep I would put her down in her cot in her room but two hours later she can be heard crying. When I look in on her, she would be sitting up right crying her eyes out and reaching out her arms. I hope she grows out of the separation anxiety stage soon.

I can proudly say my little munchkin is a "Kabal" baby. She definitely has a high tolerance for pain. She bumped her head yesterday and her nanny said she didn't cry at all. She just got up and continued playing in her play pen. In the evenings when we play with her in my room, we would just let her free on the mattress on the floor. She crawls towards anything interesting for her in sight. Besides the usual remote control & mobile phone, lately what has caught her interest are bottles, especially her daddy's 100 plus bottles and those silky labels on the pillows. It's funny how some items she's usually engrossed with are things that can be found around the house. It seems like buying all those educational toys are only useful for a couple of months.

On mummy & daddy's anniversary, we all dressed up and had a lovely family dinner at the Presendential Room at Rizqun. Azimah did a great job organizing the dinner. I dressed Mia up in one of her dresses from her Grandad Chan and she looked absolutely adorable! My little princess is all grown up.
