Last night was the first time I left Amellia to attend a Chinese wedding which lasted about 4 hours. And God did I miss her. I kept checking my phone & messaging my babysitter, i.e. my mum to see if baby was alright. Apparently she turned out to be a good baby, had two feeds and went to bed around 11-ish. After the wedding, my beloved stayed on to mingle with his friends while I dashed over to my mums to see baby who was fast asleep. As much as I didn't want to leave her, I think I did deserve a night off to spend with my beloved.
